We are getting ready for next year. In 2022-23 we have two stages. In the September term we have a foundation-building Alpha programme for the parents and guardians of children in Year 3 and above. It’s the opportunity to get to know the faith much better. Ten evening meetings include video presentations and discussions.
Once you have completed this programme we will invite you to sign up your child. Stage two begins in January 2023 with sessions for children and parents. This continues to the end of May.
Being at Sunday Mass is the most important thing. Masses are at 6 pm on Saturday and at 10 am on Sunday. At the Sunday Mass we, the faithful, gather for our weekly celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection. It is the time for the scripture readings and the homily which teach about our faith. Be sure that your children can see and hear everything; it’s always best to sit near the front. Our congregation loves families; so no worries about noise or fidgeting, please! The rest of us are not worried, I promise you.
